Coral Cay Resort Mackay, Mackay

Our stay at the motel was overall satisfactory, with well-appointed rooms and daily servicing. However, there were some issues with cleanliness and maintenance that detracted from the experience. The location was great for our road trip, but the price seemed a bit steep for what we received.

My stay at this resort was quite disappointing due to various cleanliness issues and poor communication. While the room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, I found it to be dusty and poorly maintained. On the upside, the amenities offered a decent experience, but the lack of proper service, specifically room cleaning, was frustrating. Overall, the high price didn’t match the value I expected.

I had a great time at Coral Cay Resort! The pool area was lovely, and the dinner we had at the onsite restaurant was superb. While the roller bed was uncomfortable for my teenager, the other beds were quite comfy. Overall, the upgrade they provided us with for our rooms was appreciated, especially since it was done without any extra charge after a booking mix-up. Just a heads up, the BBQ area is not available after 4pm, which was a bit of a letdown.
